Batu Caves & Temple Tour

This tour covers two unique and attractive places of worship in outskirt Kuala Lumpur. First is the spectacular Tian Hou Chinese Temple. This striking, 6-tier temple is dedicated to the Goddess Tian Hou (the Heavenly Mother) and depicts elements of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism. The other is the Batu Caves - a massive lime-stone outcrop with its interior home to a Hindu shrine lined with different deities. The shrine is set deep inside the high caverns which one has to climb 272 steps to reach. On the way back, visit a local Malaysian Batik centre to see how the fabric is being designed and printed.
