Penang is among very few places in this region where cultural dying trades continue to strive. This tour will take you to George Town to witness the making of Chinese spring-rolls wrap at the Chowrasta wet market, where grocery & livestock are traded. At a nearby alley, admire the art of joss-sticks making, some with intricate dragon motif. Proceed to see the baking of the popular “Tao Sa Peah” biscuits, and option to pick up Penang’s original products such as the medicated “nutmeg oil”. Tour ends with a sip of fresh coconut juice at a street side store.
