4 Days Penang Heritage - Culture & Nature

This package is designed to showcase the well-preserved cultural heritage attractions in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town and the new attraction of Penang Hill - the latest being the Habitat Nature Trail. 

Day 1: Arrive Penang. Meet and greet at Penang International Airport and transfer to hotel for check in. Free at leisure. 

Day 2 (B/L/D): Have a feel of nostalgic Penang by exploring old George Town - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. View Fort Cornwallis, visit Peranakan Mansion to see the antique collection and artifacts of the British-Malaya era, marvel at the street arts depicting the simple lifestyle of Penang, lunch at the Colonial E&O Hotel which was first built in 1885. In the evening, night tour of Penang which include a relaxing trishaw ride, passing through historical buildings and landmarks in George Town and sampling of some famous local dishes of Penang.

Day 3 (B/L): Ascend Penang Hill, built by the British in 1923 as a hill station, by funicular train. Highlight at the summit is The Habitat - a newly opened 1.6-kilometre nature trail conserved to be the most complete, exciting and educational Malaysian rainforest experience. See the flora and fauna along the trail, appreciate the specialty gardens, and enjoy the fantastic views from the 230-metre long canopy walk and the tree top walk which is the highest viewing platform of Penang. Lunch at David Brown's Restaurant, a quintessential colonial style restaurant with a fantastic panoramic view of Penang city. Evening free at leisure. 

Day 4: Free for own activities until departure.
