This package is designed to showcase the living culture and the well-preserved heritage buildings in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town, to bring back that nostalgic feeling and memories of old Penang, The Pearl of the Orient...

Day 1:

  • Meet and greet service on arrival at Penang International Airport, then transfer to hotel for check in

Day 2 (B/L/D):

  • Explore old George Town and view Fort Cornwallis, Penang's most prominent historical fortress

  • Learn the Straits Settlement history at Penang Museum

  • See the antique collection and artifacts of the British-Malaya era at Peranakan Mansion

  • View the murals depicting the simple lifestyle of Penang

  • Lunch at Suffolk House, once the home of Captain Francis Light (1740-1794), founder of Penang

  • Dinner at Perut Rumah, a restaurant serving authentic Nyonya food

  • Enjoy a relaxing trishaw ride passing through historical buildings and landmarks of the colonial era

Day 3 (B/L):

  • Visit the Colonial Penang Museum to understand the exquisite lifestyle of both the British Administrators and the wealthy merchants of Penang

  • Ascend Penang Hill, built by the British in 1923 as a hill station by funicular train

  • Lunch at David Brown's Restaurant, a quintessential colonial style restaurant at the summit

  • Evening free at own leisure with an option for dinner at 1885 restaurant at Eastern & Oriental Hotel, the first hotel built in Malaya of the colonial era

Day 4 (B): 

  • Free until departure

Overnight accommodation with breakfast, transportation and hotel pickup and drop-off included.
