Day 1: Arrival to Kota Kinabalu

Meet & greet upon your morning arrival to Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Check-in to hotel and freshen up before your late afternoon tour begins.

Start your tour with a drive through its capital, Kota Kinabalu City, formerly known as “Singgahmata” or “The Place where the Eye Lingers”. See places of interests in the city centre such as the Wisma Tun Mustapha (Sabah Foundation Building), the University of Sabah, the State and City Mosque and the Sabah Museum for the historical and cultural aspects of the indigenous people. Enjoy a brief stop at Signal Hill for an awesome bird’s eye view of the city skyline and nearby islands, and a chance to stop at a handicraft market if time permits.

After tour, return to hotel and enjoy the rest of the day free at own leisure.

Day 2: Kinabalu Park & Poring Hot Spring (B/L)

Breakfast at hotel.

This tour brings you across mountainous Crocker Range with panoramic view of countryside and soaring hills. Enroute to Kinabalu Park, catch the magnificent sight of Mount Kinabalu, one of the highest mountains in Southeast Asia. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with incredible bio-diversity of flora and fauna, a heaven for nature enthusiasts. On arrival, enjoy a guided nature trek along the trails in the park. Visit the Botanical Garden, stop for lunch, and after that proceed to Poring Hot Spring which offers you the opportunity for an invigorating dip into its natural hot springs. For a closer look at nature, take the 41 metres high canopy walk which offers a spectacular view of Borneo rainforest.

After tour, return to hotel and enjoy the rest of the day free at own leisure.

Day 3: Klias Mangrove Wildlife and Fireflies (B/D)

Breakfast at hotel.

Free & easy in the morning.

Pickup from hotel lobby between 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm and transfer overland to Klias Forest Reserve. The journey will be along scenic coastal roads and picturesque villages. Arriving at the Klias River village jetty at 4:00 pm and coffee, tea and Malay cakes and cookies will be served. The river cruise in search of wildlife such as proboscis monkeys, birds, monitor lizards, crocodiles etc will commence at 4:45 pm. Return to the jetty at 6:30 pm where traditional Malay buffet dinner will be served. As dusk sets in, reconvene your short river cruise to observe the flickering fireflies lighting up the river banks. Transfer back to Kota Kinabalu at 7:30 pm.

After tour, return to hotel and enjoy the rest of the day free at own leisure.

Check-out and transfer to Kota Kinabalu International Airport for your departure flight home.
