5 Days Malaysia World Heritage Trails (Ends Kuala Lumpur or KLIA)
This package is designed for those who want to explore the cultural heritage of West Malaysia, particularly the UNESCO World Heritage sites in Malacca, George Town and a most recent gazette archaeological site in Perak.
Day 1: Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) - Malacca
Arrive at KLIA, meet and greet then transfer to Malacca (2-hour by road). Free at leisure for the rest of the day. Overnight at The Majestic Hotel or similar.
Day 2: Malacca - Penang (B/L)
Morning half day Malacca Tour visiting the heritage sites like the Dutch Square, St Paul Hill and Jonker Street. In the afternoon return to KLIA or Subang for a 1-hour flight to Penang. Free in the evening. Overnight at E&O Hotel or similar.
Day 3: Penang (B)
Morning George Town Heritage Tour. Explore the streets of George Town with its famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Photo stop at Fort Cornwallis, Penang's most prominent historical fortress. Visit the Peranakan Mansion which houses priceless antique collection and artifacts, showcasing an assimilation of cultures between the Malays and the early Chinese settlers. Within the vicinity, check-out the murals (street arts) depicting the simple life style of Penang. Next stop is the Penang Buddhist Association cum temple, historical yet no lack of daily worshipers. On the way back, option to view the oldest Protestant Cemetery in Southeast Asia, where the founder of Penang - Captain Francis Light laid to rest. The rest of the day free at leisure or optional tour. Overnight at E&O Hotel or similar.
Day 4: Penang - Kuala Lumpur (B)
Morning begin a 4-hour journey by land to Kuala Lumpur, passing scenic countryside, rubber and oil palm plantations. On the way visit Lenggong Valley in Perak where prehistoric Perak man was once sighted. Arrive at Kuala Lumpur in the afternoon. Overnight at Ritz Carlton Hotel or similar.
Day 5: Departure (B)
Free at leisure till the transfer to airport for your departure flight.
