Spectacular Sky Mirror from Kuala Lumpur

After an hour drive from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Selangor, take a boat ride to Sky Mirror (named after its mirror-like reflection of the sky) – a mystery island that will only emerge during low tide. Dubbed the ‘Salar de Uyuni’ of Malaysia after the natural wonder in Bolivia, the island is also a habitat for marine agriculture. The most common are clams which are scattered abundantly in the sand, and glitter like diamonds under the sun.
